Civilian Preparedness is your Emergency Preparedness information headquarters. Here you will find breaking news related to emergency preparedness, tips and strategies I’ve learned from the experts, some lessons we can learn from recent emergencies, and also a list of suggested resources to keep on hand to prepare your family for whatever emergency comes your way.
My focus here is on the civilian side of things. I won’t be going over tactical operations. And I won’t be another mouthpiece for the government. The reason I started this community was to empower the civilian to not rely on your government. No government in the world can protect you, and as we’ve seen so many times, they really can’t even help you after the emergency either. We are on our own. We are our first and last line of defense. I hope to make you aware of this fact, and to get you prepared for it. A weird reality I’ve come to learn first hand is when you are prepared for emergencies, they tend not to happen.
