It is our mission to educate, equip, and empower ordinary civilians to understand, prepare for, and survive any emergency they face. We cannot rely merely on the government to take care of us. We must take it upon ourselves to provide for and protect ourselves and our families during these times of uncertainty as well as during natural disasters.
Civilian Preparedness is for the average civilian with little to no special training or expertise in matters of Emergency Preparedness or Response. This isn’t a gearhead, ex-Special Forces, tactical, or zombie warrior prepper site. We’re here to Educate, Empower, and Equip everyday civilians. Educate them on the dangers they may face. Empower them with strategies to avoid or overcome them. And Equip them with helpful tools and resources to make these difficult times easier.
We aren’t doom and gloom types here. We want to talk about real world scenarios that happen fairly often. We won’t talk about asteroids coming to hit the planet or zombies waking from the dead. We will go over things from what to do in the event of a terrorist attack, or during a hurricane, all the way down to how to be prepared for simple car trouble. You may never face a terrorist attack, and I hope you don’t. But you are likely, or someone you love, to face car trouble, and could potentially leave you stranded. More people in the United States die on the side of the road than by a terrorist attack
We want to build a nationwide network of “neighbors”, so to speak, who look out for each other and keep each other in the know. We will communicate, in real time, dangerous situations as they unfold. We want to not only be a constant reliable source of information available 24/7, but also a sort of live Emergency Alert notification network. We need your help with this!
Send us your tips, give us a heads up, if you have something unfolding in your area that you think people need to be made aware of, send it to us and we will get the message out.
Send emails to [email protected], and your Tweets and DMs to @CivilianPreparedness.
Also be sure to have your loved ones, as well as you, follow us on social media to be informed of unfolding dangerous situations.
Stay Informed, and Stay Safe!
